The ACP is the only prosthodontic specialty organization where membership is based solely on education credentials, where members must be in or have completed an ADA-accredited advanced education program in prosthodontics. ![]() The ACP regularly communicates and interacts with the ADA, especially with the Council on Dental Education and Licensure and the Commission on Dental Accreditation as well as other dental specialty organizations to discuss, support and influence key issues affecting the specialty of Prosthodontics. The American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP) is the certifying body of the specialty responsible for examining and certifying those individuals who have the knowledge, skills and attributes necessary to become board-certified specialists. The ACP Annual Session provides access to renowned educational offerings and the latest innovations and technologies.
